So the plants arrived on Thursday, and while they were slightly smaller than I was expecting, they were all very healthy. We’ve got 12 tomato plants and 6 pepper plants (a mix of hot and sweet). Yesterday we bought some additional plants, including marigolds, basil, and a few more tomato plants.

They’ve been planted. Once it cools down I’ll go take a few pictures of them in the ground.

Welcome
20 04 2009
So I’ve still got some housekeeping to do around here (as I do in the garden), but I’ll get there. Overall, my blogging is best when I’m focused on a topic so I thought if I were to write about gardening, I might as well start a gardening blog.
I chose the photoblog theme because I also figured that the best way to write about a garden is to show as much as possible. So for the first post, here I am in the garden, preparing it for the upcoming season. I’ve built a third box (shown on the right) and mulched between the boxes to make it all a more cohesive unit. My wife posted some nice in-process pictures on her cooking blog, found here.
So I’ll clean the blog up in the next week or so, continue to add pictures in process, and direct you to anything I find interesting. Stay tuned.
